Trans/Nonbinary Student-Athletes:
Trinity College Athletics competes within the New England Small Collegiate Athletic Conference (NESCAC) and is subject to the protocols and eligibility requirements of this conference for competing student-athletes.
Transgender and nonbinary student-athletes are a welcome and valuable part of the athletic community across the NESCAC institutions. To compete on NESCAC teams there are some disclosures of transitional status that are necessary to determine eligibility for Men’s and/or Women’s designated teams and certain guidelines for those using HRT substances. Trinity Athletics is here to help you understand and navigate your requirements to successfully compete. If you are considering joining a Trinity athletics team please review these NESCAC documents below to better understand this process and what is required. At Trinity College Kristen Noone the Associate Athletic Director and Rachel Rank the Athletics Coordinator of Compliance and Diversity, Equity and Inclusion will assist you with your eligibility guidelines.

Trevor Project:
The Trevor Project offers a 24/7 hotline for those LGBTQ+ individuals who are struggling with mental health crisis, suicide ideation and self-harm. Website: http://www.thetrevorproject.org/
The Health Collective:
*formerly the Hartford Gay and Lesbian Health Collective (HGLHC)
1841 BROAD ST. Hartford (Located behind the Trinity Hockey Rink)
Provides medical and sexual health services, dental services, support groups, and health education for LGBTQ+ individuals. http://www.hglhc.org/
The HGLHC provides 2 community building and peer support spaces for certain affinity groups within the LGBTQ+ community. See more info about the MPowerment Men’s Group and TransMasc Space below.
These meet at the HGLHC in the building behind the Trinity Hockey Rink. (A very short walk across the street from the Queer Resource Center!) Trinity students are welcome for services and support group participation.
MPowerment:MPowerment is a social and educational group for men who love men ages 18-35. Meet other gay and bi guys, learn about sexual health, and plan fun social activities. We’ve been running MPowerment at HGLHC since 2008. We generally meet every 2nd and 4th Tuesday at 7:00 p.m. Email [email protected] for more info. |

Planned Parenthood of New England (Hartford/West Hartford):
Offers LGBTQ+ inclusive health, gynecological, and sexual health care, STD/STI testing, Transgender Health care, and HRT consultations and prescriptions via informed consent model (North Hartford Branch only)
Assistance with Legal Name changes:
